Alex Job Racing Returns to ALMS Competition for 2010 Season

Two Cars in new ALMS GTC at Sebring with strong driver lineup
Alex Job Racing (AJR) is coming back to the American Le Mans Series (ALMS) to compete in the full 2010 nine race GTC championship.  The team will field two 2010 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars with a strong driver lineup.

 Prior to running in other forms of sports car racing, AJR held the distinction of running every ALMS race, except the Australian event in 2000.  “We are looking forward to returning to the ALMS series and running the full schedule,” Alex Job, team owner said.  “In the time that we were in the series we were very successful with the Porsche factory, as well as on our own.”

HIGHCROFT RACING SELECTED TO RACE IN LE MANS 24 HOUR

Reigning American Le Mans Series LMP1 champions Highcroft Racing will race in this year’s 24 Hours of Le Mans after being announced this morning as one of the 55 teams selected to contest the French endurance classic.

Highcroft Racing’s David Brabham - the winner of last year’s 24 Hours of Le Mans with Peugeot - was in attendance at the Automobile Club de l’Ouest (ACO) press conference this morning in France.

MARINO FRANCHITTI JOINS PATRÓN HIGHCROFT

DANBURY, CT, Thursday, January 14, 2009:  Patrón Highcroft Racing has locked in another American Le Mans Series race winner for its 2010 driver line-up with Marino Franchitti joining forces with David Brabham and Simon Pagenaud.
 
Franchitti took two LMP2 class victories for Dyson Racing in 2009, but will now line-up aboard the Honda Performance Development factory-backed ARX-01c Patrón Highcroft Racing entry for the 2010 Twelve Hours of Sebring, the Monterey Sports Car Championship at Laguna Seca and the season-ending Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta.

PAGENAUD JOINS PATRÓN HIGHCROFT FOR AMERICAN LE MANS SERIES ASSAULT

Young French sportscar star Simon Pagenaud will join the championship-winning Patrón Highcroft Racing squad alongside David Brabham for the 2010 American Le Mans Series.
 
Pagenaud has been a key rival of the Danbury, CT-based team with de Ferran Motorsports over the past two seasons but will now join forces with Brabham to form a potent attack at the Honda Performance Development factory squad armed with the newly revised ARX-01c chassis.
